About Tim

I came to Quebec way back in 1965 from Sudbury Ontario. My Dad was the manager of Towers department store situated roughly were the Canadian Tire is just down the street. He bought a model home located in the crescent adjacent to our church. It was in 1968 that I accepted the Lord under the guiding hand of Mr. Bill McNairn who lived two house over ( now the dwelling of Daniel and Elizabeth Castrillon). After a 7 year departure from the South Shore (parents splitting up, most of us 7 kids ending up in foster homes), 

I returned to Greenfield Park and was invited to live with the McNairn family for over 4 years until my marriage to an incredible young Spanish Senorita, Damaris in 1980! We were wed in the old Chapel of our current church. Damaris and I have been blessed with 3 beautiful children; Chrystal-Vanessa-and Timothy. All of our children have moved west. Chrystal is married to a fine young Christian man (Malachi). They reside in Kamloops. Vanessa is living in Calgary and will be married to next November to Zac (loves sports too), 

Timothy is married  to the beautiful and talented Massiel (Najibe’s daughter). They reside in Texas. 

I have served as a deacon under Pastor Reynolds. As an Elder under pastor Gazdik and as a Elder and Deacon under Pastor Talbots leadership. I have lead a small group for over a decade. I have taught Sunday school and have had the opportunity to work with men’s ministry. Enjoyed playing for a few years with the worship team. As well, Damaris and I have been involved with OCC for almost 20 years. Our little church has been a solid foundation of friendship and fellowship to Damaris and my children most of our lives. We love it here and have been truly blessed through the years
